Album information

Unwrap some of our favourite tracks from a bumper year of Linn recordings. We hope that our favourites will become your favourites, as you unwrap our 2020 highlights collection.

We’ve travelled the world visiting Spain courtesy of The Orchestra of the Americas, Macedonia thanks to Simon Trpčeski, and Edinburgh with Ensemble Marsyas. We have music to soothe the soul from Duo Pleyel, Phantasm and Francesco Piemontesi, as well as notable Linn debuts from New College Choir, Oxford and Bicentenary Scholarship recipients from the Royal Academy of Music: Yoanna Prodanova, Emily Nebel, Anna Geniushene and Claudia Lucia Lamanna.

Trevor Pinnock and Jonathan Freeman-Attwood introduced us to some unique arrangements of Bach and Strauss, while conductors Thomas Søndergård, Robin Ticciati and François Leleux demonstrated the strength of their partnerships with Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Scottish Chamber Orchestra respectively.
