Retrospect Trio debut with Purcell

Retrospect Trio is an exciting new chamber group featuring Sophie Gent and Matthew Truscott on violin, Jonathan Manson on bass viol and Mathew Halls (pictured) on organ and harpsichord. 

"Henry Purcell: Ten Sonatas in Four Parts" marks the debut of Retrospect Trio and they could not have chosen finer music to display their combined talents. The Trio explore and emphasize the unique aspects of Purcell's remarkable sonatas creating a truly outstanding recording and a fitting 350th anniversary tribute. 

The debut performance of Retrospect Trio is at the Norfolk and Norwich Festival on May 1st.
