Barb Jungr's vocal technique is formidable, but what made this performance so riveting was the emotional clarity she brought to her Sings Bob Dylan.  So persuasively did Jungr inhabit the songs that, at times, one entertained the thought that she might have understood them better than their author.  Tangled Up In Blue was a masterclass in storytelling, with Jungr's intimate, conversational delivery in striking contrast to the dramatic piano of Jenny Carr, the sole accompanist.  I'll Be Your Baby Tonight was sung tenderly with erotic relish; the poignant, painted, imploring Sara was captivating; and You Ain't Goin' Nowhere was an irresistibly delirious romp.  One ended the evening in awe of Dylan's extraordinary artistry - and Jungr's.
