Retrospect in the Classical Charts for second week
Retrospect Ensemble's new recording of 'JS Bach Easter and Ascension Oratorios' has stayed in the UK Classical Chart Top 20 for a second consecutive week. It entered at number 15 (now at 19) and entered the Specialist Chart at number 3 (now at 5)! This is another great result for the ensemble who are riding high after the album was named 'Classical Record of the Week' in the Sunday Times.
The recording, conducted by Matthew Halls, features the talents of some star singers: Carolyn Sampson (soprano), Iestyn Davies (countertenor), James Gilchrist (tenor) and Peter Harvey (bass).
