The Royal Academy of Music Bicentenary Series Continues
The first recordings in the new series are taking place this month.
Readers of Japan's leading music magazine Record Geijutsu have chosen their favourite recordings of 2020.
The Readers' Choice chart features What’s Next Vivaldi by Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Giovanni Antonini and Il Giardino Armonico in 10th place in the general chart (and 1st place in the Early Music chart), Goldberg Variations (Arr. for Small Orchestra by Józef Koffler) by Trevor Pinnock and Royal Academy of Music in 12th place in the general chart (and 2nd place in the Chamber Music chart), and Vienne 1900 by Emmanuel Pahud, Paul Meyer, Daishin Kashimoto, Zvi Plesser and Éric Le Sage in 21st place in the general chart (and 3rd place in the Chamber Music chart).
