Phantasm Nominated For BBC Music Magazine Award

Phantasm's recording of The Well-Tempered Consort – III has been nominated for a Chamber Award at the 2024 BBC Music Magazine Awards! The winners are decided by public vote so if you have enjoyed Phantasm's Bach series you can help them win.

J.S. Bach: The Well-Tempered Consort – III was named Recording of the Month and received five stars for both performance and recording in the original review which read "This is a truly outstanding album, which rewards the listener with profound aural pleasure."

This is the third and final instalment of Phantasm's hugely popular Well-Tempered Consort series. Devised by its director Laurence Dreyfus, this polyphonic feast is a fitting end to a remarkable journey and a must for all viol fans.

Voting closes at midnight on Friday 23 February, and the winners will be revealed at the Awards ceremony at King’s Place on Thursday 18 April.
