Juno Award Nomination For Barbara Hannigan

The JUNO Awards are presented annually to Canadian musical artists and bands to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music. Congratulations to Barbara Hannigan, Ludwig Orchestra and Alpha Classics for their nomination in this year's Juno Awards for La Passione. Hannigan's programme of Grisey, Nono and Haydn has already been awarded a 2020 Choc de l'année award and now has the possibility of winning a Juno award too!  

The album is nominated in the 'Classical Album of the Year: Vocal or Choral' category. Hannigan's previous album, Crazy Girl Crazy, won the 2018 Juno Award in the same category.

The winers will be named at a ceremony in Toronto, Ontario on 16 May 2021, observing the 50th anniversary of these awards.
