Gramophone Awards Shortlist Announced
Congratulations to all the artists who have been shortlisted for a 2024 Gramophone Award! Ahead of the results being announced you can discover many of these recordings in Studio Master:
- Lassus: The Alchemist, Volume 1 by Magnificat & Philip Cave is nominated in the Early Music category
- Infinite Voyage by Emerson String Quartet, Barbara Hannigan & Bertrand Chamayou is nominated in the Chamber category
- Shadows of My Ancestors by Behzod Abduraimov is nominated in the Piano category
- Laws of Solitude. Strauss: Four Last Songs by Asmik Grigorian, Mikko Franck, Markus Hinterhäuser & Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France is nominated in the Voice & Ensemble category
- Paysage by Véronique Gens, Münchner Rundfunkorchester & Hervé Niquet is nominated in the Voice & Ensemble category
- Schubert: Die Schöne Müllerin by Konstantin Krimmel & Daniel Heide is nominated in the Song category
From the complete list of celebrated recordings, an album will be chosen as the winner in each of the 11 recording categories, and from that shortlist, a single album will be named 'Recording of the Year’ on October 2.
